The Founding of Young African Ambassadors in Asia (YAAA)
Young African Ambassadors in Asia, birthed out of mour circular discussions among African Students in Indonesia during an International Conference of Youths in Tidung Islands Jakarta with the aim to pursue, support and strengthen cooperation and collaboration at the youth level of Africa. The group is an informal association which gives a platform for African students to gather and share views. YAAA does not affiliate or align itself to politics, but on social basis that is mutual understanding and friendship. Our view is to have a sense of belonging to the founding cause of Asia Africa Conference as Youths from the two continents (Asia and Africa) and with mutual understanding and friendship amongst ourselves, we envision concrete cooperations between the Youths of Asia and Africa.
Background of Young African Ambassadors in Asia / Founding Values
As Youths, or the Rising Generation in our various paths of studies to become identifiable technocrats, we feel our participation in our respective economies is very crucial to development and peace. We feel we can act a strong complemenatary role to our leading governements in enhancing the course of cooperation and collaboration on the basis of mutual friendship and understanding as well as social at youth level and without any political alignment. We intend that this is recognised so that we build friendship amongst ourselves as Youths of Africa and resultant mutual understanding. We engulf the future of our countries and economies, as such our understanding at this level as Youths would mean a cemented or a concrete basis for cooperation and collaboration for our common or shared cause in the future. We are bent or inclined on acquiring knowledge of that which makes-up Asia Africa. We are willing to share through research and academia or events that are usually billed on Asia Africa calender to foster our understanding.
To pursue, support and strengthen cooperation and collaboration between Youths of Africa studying in Asia.
